美国签证过期如何续签？
我是在美中国留学生，于2016年4月27号B1/B2 签证，8月份到期.因为当时已经回国而且暑假时间来不及回去续签了所以在签证的时候填写了visa waiver date. 现在我在美国工作打算续签签证. 我在DHS网站上查到自己现在visa status是V， V表示visa validity is coded as invalid (not sure why) 所以我想咨询一下像我这样的情况应该如何办理？
我的护照现在还在中国所以无法寄出去给大使馆，如果我去附近的领事馆面谈的话需要准备什么材料吗？还是说我就不能去面签了只能寄护照过去让大使馆处理呢！求大神指导！万分感谢！
目前我手上有的材料有
1 b1/b2签证首页（有效期和入境日期）
2 current i94 form(in transit and arriving date match the visa expiration datestarting from new york july 3rd '15 until sep.'15 )
3 old i94 form (arriving on august， arrival date matches my visa startdate)
4 old I-94W form with valid status (i am in F1 student status now， so it should be expired by march this year)
5 2016 tax transcript(my SS number is not matched when i checked on irs website before. It seems that there is a mistake made at some time ， so they sent me transcript for review purposes， which are exactly what i have now. But here comes another question： do i need to send them original ss card or just copy of one side？ And where can i get the other side)
6 passport photo (duh！ i don't know if you still needed this...but better safe than sorry)
