The George Washington University’s School of Business is located in one of the most beautiful historic buildings in all of DC. The John M. Erlanger House was built in 1905 as a private residence and features a stone facade,a granite base, and an extensive gardens out back. It was donated to GW by Mr.Erlanger’s daughter in 1968 with the stipulation that it not be demolished. In fact, the university agreed to this condition in order to secure the purchase! The building was renovated into classrooms and office space for the school in 1970.
GW’s MBA program is ranked number 42 in the country according to U.S. News & World Report 2013,which places us at #1 among public universities. We are also ranked #1 for Part-time MBA programs in the Mid-Atlantic region and #1 for “Part-time MBA Programs With the Greatest Salary Growth” nationally.
In addition, all full-time students receive a complimentary laptop computer on which you can access course materials;surf the web;and send and receive emails throughout your studies.
Located just four blocks from the White House,we offer our students unparalleled access to political decision makers and opportunities to network. Our students have interned for the Obama Administration, for former Presidents Bush and Clinton,as well as current and past members of Congress. And every semester we invite policymakers to speak about relevant topics in management and policy analysis.
